She said, “I spent 10 years working as a journalist, starting my career with a weekly newspaper before moving to a daily, where I researched and wrote  accurate stories to tight deadlines.”

Over the last three years, Anwen, has also gained a solid grounding in PR and Marketing, having been responsible for creating compelling campaigns and content on renewable technologies and software systems, within the energy sector.

“When I started my PR & Marketing role, I drew upon my journalism experience to help create content for complex technology subjects. For me, it was always about making the most technical of stories relatable and understandable to every reader,” she added.

As part of her varied role at Little Cricket, she will assist with client work, research and write press releases, features and other content, liaise with key media, help produce creative campaigns, as well as oversee social media accounts and build communities of interest around the issues that matter most to their clients.

Anwen continues, “I’m really excited to be joining Little Cricket and working closely with all their clients. I think 2018 is going to be an exciting year and I’m really looking forward to being part of the agency’s ongoing success.”

Little Cricket’s founder, Candice Cowan, concludes, “Anwen’s experience and background as both a journalist and marketer make her a great addition to the business. She will help us deliver for our growing portfolio of clients, as well as support the agency as we target new business opportunities.”
